40 days of PRAYER>>> Let’s live beyond ourselves.

CHILDREN’S CUP is starting their 40 days of prayer tomorrow… it’s going to be amazing… I am so honored to be a part of changing the lives of these beautiful children and workers of the Lord… God uses His people to help His people… I find prayer the MOST significant and simplistic catalyst of change.

As we commit to lift up the lives of these precious souls and laborers for His Kingdom I pray that we are also forever changed! My confession of the day or week or whatever is this… simply, ‘I want to think of myself less and others MORE”… I am so grateful for all that the Lord continues to do in my life but I want that same gratitude and drive to see it in others lives… I want to FOCUS on the rest of this world NOT just Natalie’s world… This will be a step in that direction….

In the MESSAGE version Matthew 10:39 says, “If your first concern is to look after yourself, you’ll never find yourself. But if you forget about yourself and look to me, you’ll find both yourself and me”.

Lydia means “beautiful Light” and that is exactly what her simple words have done for me… Lord help me to see Your Light in the lives of others, help me to rid myself of myself.

There are TOO MANY without and I say, “more Starbucks”…. something is terribly wrong with that… don’t’ let me lose sight of Your Light… Your essence for this life… This is my confession, my declaration that you are worth more than what I have given….
